Mostly gay hotel in a beautifully well kept 1920s building with an interior ornamented like a castle. Room rates (including breakfast) are $22,000 per night double, $14,0000 per night single. Main credit cards accepted. Rooms are spacious and all have own bathroom and cable TV with video. Next door to Bokhara disco. Rooms also available for three hours; see website for rates.


On the other hand if you are travelling on a budget you can e-mail the Santiago tourist office tur_ims@entelchile.net and they will send you a list of Residenciales that offer Bed & Breakfast for about $10 per night.

If you need a hotel room for just a few hours then the classified ads section of the daily newspaper La Tercera has a page full of "motels" with prices averaging around $6000 for three hours. I don't believe there is any problem with same-sex couples using these hotels.
